Listening to other’s reviews and doing a bit more research talked me into grabbing a brick of this stuff and seeing what it can do. I was impressed with it towards the end of last season (as lackluster as the snow was), and I’m excited to try it.

Hertel's Super Hot Sauce wax seems to be the most recommended (cheap) wax on the internet. I noticed on the package that it says 190 degree max iron temperature for this wax. My waxing iron only goes down to 212 degrees. Anyone have any experience with this wax? Will this be a problem? Thanks in advance! 7 comments. share. save hide report. 75% Upvoted. Super Hot Sauce was half the price and a better performer than the all purpose wax I purchased at my local Colorado ski store. It applies easily and has performed well in all snow conditions and temperatures, from deep powder, packed powder, hard pack, and spring slush. I ski 20 - 30 days a season and will be using this wax on all my families skis and snowboards.
That won't avoid them completely, however: Last week, we ordered a hot-sauce chicken-finger sub with bleu cheese, but what we got was a BBQ chicken-finger sub. My son ate it anyway. 15 minutes after he finished eating it and pointed out to me that it wasn't what we had ordered, our doorbell rang again: a Campobello's delivery guy with our hot-sauce chicken-finger sub!
Although fully cooked, it makes sense to bake a smoked ham shank before serving. Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the racks in the oven on the lowest two rungs. Step 2. Remove the ham from its packaging and pat dry with a paper towel. Fill an aluminum roasting pan with 1 or 2 cups of water, depending on the size of the ham. Step 3. Place the ham into the aluminum pan.

The training wax is a hard wax - very similar to the Hertel Super Hot Sauce. In fact is also similar in the way it goes on the ski as well. except it is a harder wax and requires a bit more work to melt in and results in a hotter ski. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.
